Cataract:

•  Extract the juice of Basil and add a little of honey to it.Apply this over the eye every morinig and evening.If hte cataract be of raw type

Dirty Water purifying agent:

•  Sometimes people dont like water of a new place.Just put a couple of Basil leaves and then you'd face no problems.If you put just two leaves of basil in a pitcher water for an hour or so,and then remove them,the water shall be purified immediately.

Fistula:

•  have three or four basil leaves every morinig with water.Alternately take the root of basil and the fruit of neem tree and grind them together.Take 2gms of this on every morning for quick relief.

Epilepsy:

•  Rub basil juice over your body after taking bath,At the time of attack, smell the blossom deeply,should the attack make one unconscious,grind 11 leaves of basil add a little salt to it and put a few of this juice in hte patient's nostrils,He would immediately regain his consciousness.

Flatulence:

•  Take about 10 gms,of absil juiem10gms of dry ginger and 20 gms of jaggery. Mix all of them together to form small tablets.Take a tablet thrice a day with water to set right your degestive process.

Flu:

•  Take about 10gms of basil leaves and 250 gms of water Boil them together till water is halved.Now add in the remaining water rock salt,according to taste.No sooner did you start to sweat that the effect of flu shall be removed with the sweat and you shall be alright.

Hoarse Voice:

•  Just extract the juice of 10 basil leaves. add a little of honey and lick it.Just a small spoonful quantity of htis solution will soothern your throat nerves and your voice will be again sweet.

Hair Trouble:

•  Put about 21 leaves of basil and 10 gms of anwala churna in a big bowl. Add a little of water to make a paste of them ,Apply it evenly on your head and allow it to dry.Then wash it with cold water.This will prevent hair loss and clear dandruff.

Hysteria:

•  If the hysteria effect be due to excess of phlegm in hte body,make the patient smell basil leaves and drink 5 basil leaves juice.If it is caused by hte excessive heat going to the head, grind fiv leaves and few black pepper by mixing them in water and make the patient drink this water every morningm and evening for a week's time.

Kidney Troubles:

•  For any type of kidney trouble,basil juice provides a very effective cure.just soak 5 to 7 gms of absil seeds evrnight in water,In the morning grind them with sugar and drink the combination. soon the congestion or infection in kidney will be thrown out by means of copious discharge of urine.

Leprosy:

•  Living in an atmosphere abounding with basil plant is the best treatment.For white patches chew 5 leves of basil every morning,everning and afternoon.

Lethargy:

•  THe tea made of basil provides instant enrgy and makes one quite energetic.This is not a cumberstone preposition because as you prepare tea,so you prepare this basil tea and insted of putting tea leaves.

Mouth Boil:

•  Take just a leaf of chameli plant, and four leaves of basil.Chew them properly for a few minutes and suck in hte juice .In about a day the trouble will vanish.

Malaria:

•  Take about 10 gms of basil leaves juice and add to it 1 gam of black pepper. Administer this dose five or six days after every two hours. Alternatively make small tablets of this combination and feed the patient on basil tea additionaly.in a couple of days the fever will vanish along with malarial infection.

Pneumonia:

•  Boil a few leaves of basil in a tumblerful of water ,when cool,strain and put this water in a bottle.Massage this water on the affected limbs
  Continue the treatment for two weeks.

Chicken Pox:

•  If the person be already afflicted with this problem,then giving basil leaves juice mixed with Bishops seed will provide relief.
  But to prevent this menace afflicting you or your family members,prepare anti small pox tablets in ht efollowing way and administer one tablet daily with water.

Testes Problems:

•  If there be swelling on the testes or any other problem concerning with testes.Apply the paste prepared in the following manner over the testes.Take about 5gms of each camel's during Amarbel,the leaves of Arhar and Basil leaves,grind them to a homogenous paste in a little .

Black spots:

•  These are caused to sexual pleasure ,take juice of basil and two times of lemon juice  and Apply on affected parts it will remove the black spot completely.But restrain your sexual urge.

Basil (Ocimum basilicum) of the Family Lamiaceae is also known as St. Joseph's Wort and Sweet Basil. It is a tender low-growing herb, originally native to tropical Asia. It grows to between 20–60 cm tall, with opposite, light green, silky leaves 1.5–5 cm long and 1–3 cm broad. The flowers are quite big, white in colour and arranged in a terminal spike. Unusual among Lamiaceae, the four stamens and the pistil are not pushed under the upper lip of the corolla, but lay over the inferior. After entomophilous pollination, the corolla falls off and four round achenes develop inside the bilabiate calyx. The plant tastes somewhat like anise, with a strong, pungent, sweet smell. Basil is very sensitive to cold, with best growth in hot, dry conditions. While most common varieties are treated as annuals, some are perennial, including African Blue and Holy Thai basil.
